Peter Kaelli, Chief Executive Officer of the Unique Collection of Hotels and
Resorts has signed a management agreement with the
Putahracsa Hua Hin.
The owner of Putahracsa Hua Hin, Ms Velvadi Srirairatana, has long
desired to craft something special on the resort’s site. "As this is my new
venture into the hotel business, I want to create a different type of
refined boutique resort” she commented. “I feel that a good management team
is really important to ensure that the property goes in the right direction.
I am strongly certain that The Unique Collection can both implement the
concept and at the same time support us with their professional management
skills.”
The property is one of the few luxury properties in
Hua Hin that is of
the low rise villa-style, blending in with its environment. Putahracsa Hua
Hin comprises 59 chic individualized units that emphasize personal space and
privacy. The unit types include: “SilkSand Rooms” “SanSky Villas” “Oceanbed
Jacuzzi Villas”, and “Oceanbed Pool Villas” featuring 10 meter private
pools. All types are designed and decorated in a different style, eschewing
uniformity.
From private romantic beach barbecues to treatments outside of the normal
confines of a spa, to hassle-free, in-room check-in, guests will be
encouraged to spend each moment with Putahracsa as they wish. Naeb Talae
features both traditional Thai and contemporary cuisine drawing upon the
fresh seafood from the Gulf of Thailand. Sala Monsoon will be a café by day
and a bar by night.
The new luxury property, scheduled to open in June 2006, represents a
milestone as the first hotel signed by The Unique Collection. Peter Kaelli
