An Ideal Setting For Rejuvination and Relxation
After a three hours car ride from Bangkok to Hua Hin and a half hour
drive through the Thailand countryside, we are welcomed to
Aleenta in
Pranburi with a refreshing home made Beet Root drink on the the patio of our
room overlooking the infinity pool and Gulf of Thailand. The small enclave
of buildings on the private beach is a stark contrast to the traffic and
bustle of Bangkok. With personalized touch of service and gracious Thai
hospitality.
There are things to do at Aleenta, like day trips to natural parks and
reserves, biking, Tai Chi, Yoga, Power walks on the beach, movie nights on
big screen open air cinema, but the most that guest really do is relax,
enjoy sumptuous food creations and theme nights on the beach, which by the
way changes daily and divine spa treatments.
Tamir Kobrin, resident manager, put his personal touches on this new
concept, each room has personal ipods and Bose dock with over 400 song
variety and personal laptops for the guests to upload additional music, but
the atmosphere is captured the moment you enter the room with the Aleenta
signature music playing in the background at check in and turndown.
No televisions or cable, but every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday on the
outdoor spa deck movies are shown under the stars and popcorn is included.
(If for no other reason, I wish I hadn't left Aleenta on Thursday afternoon.
I would have loved to watch "Havana" in Thailand)
When I asked Resident Manager Tamir Kobrin what special feature make
Aleenta unique, he laughs and graciously answers "unobtrusive luxury with
crispness and attention to detail to your individual tastes and
expectations." Whether staying for two nights or ten, Aleenta offers the
ideal setting for reflection on life. Read a book, walk the beach, or simply
watch the waves from a hammock just outside your room.
The cuisine is what makes this resort a true destination with menus that
change daily and a variety of theme nights which make you sorry to have to
go away, as they are always booked, I tried to extend my stay, but alas, I
had to return back to the hassle of the city.
Enjoy and keep this hideout a secret before they all come down and take
