It’s time for the women to strut their stuff. After a very successful
Samsung Ladies
Masters
in Singapore, the Thailand Ladies Open is set to take women’s golf a notch
up. This flagship event will see 132 players battling it out on the greens
of the prestigious Alpine Golf Club,
Bangkok for a prize purse
of US$330,000.
With the likes of top lady golfers such as US-based Thai golfer Virada
Nirapathpongporn, fellow Thai professional Russamee Gulyanamitta, and
Samsung Ladies Masters runner-up, Charlotte Sorenstam there will be no
question of the skills displayed during the tournament.

Nirapathpongporn, brings a wealth of talent to the Thailand Ladies Open. The
Thai star is looking forward to her first home tournament as a professional.
The Thailand Ladies Open is held under the auspices of the Robe di Kappa
Ladies European Tour (LET), the Ladies Asian Golf Tour (LAGT) and the
Thailand Ladies Golf Association (TLGA). Points will count towards the
Solheim Cup and the official Order of Merit.

history. Catch one of Thailand's top female golfer, Virada Nirapathpongporn
in action. She will be plying her trade against other top players including
Song Bo Bae, Minea Blomqvist, Lynette Brooky, plus many more Solheim Cup
