The Phuket Golf Festival 2005 was held in Phuket.

than 100 teams of golfers from 6 Andaman provinces including foreigners took
part in the Phuket Golf Festival 2005 taking place at
Loch Palm golf course in Phuket. The tournament was officially declared
opened by an advisor to the Tourism Authority of Thailand's Governor,
Patpong Apichartapong. The tournament aims to help promote tourism in the
region as well as be in support of the government policy to promote Thailand
as golf paradise.
