An exhibition called "Bronze: Metal That Changed the World" continues at
Bangkok's National Museum until June 26.
On display are more than 200 bronze antiques and ancient tools used in
the bronze-production process, borrowed from 20 other branches of the
National Museum, alongside items loaned by private museums, temples and
private collectors.
The exhibition is divided into two parts: the evolution of bronze, from
the discovery of this alloy up to the present day; and technological
developments in bronze production plus techniques devised by scientists to
conserve ancient bronze artefacts.
Bangkok's National Museum is open daily (except Mondays, Tuesdays and
national holidays) from 9am to 4pm. Admission costs 40 baht. For more
information, call 02-224-1333.
