2nd Successive Win at World Travel Awards
The
Sheraton Grande Laguna Phuket has, for a second successive year, won the
“Thailand’s Leading Golf Resort” award. The announcement was made at the
annual World Travel Awards ceremony held in
London a day prior to the
commencement of the World Travel Mart.
Coming a few months after the Sheraton Grande Laguna Phuket was
recognized as one of the top five resort hotel’s in Asia-Pacific for the
fifth successive year by Business Traveller Asia-Pacific magazine, the most
recent award pays tribute to the splendid all-round facilities available at
the five-star resort, including the multi award-winning 18-hole par-71
Laguna Phuket Golf Course. The Max Wexler and David Abell designed
course, measuring 6,654 yards, has also recently been voted amongst the top
ten for “Best Golf Resort in Asia”, “Best Clubhouse in Asia” and “Best Golf
Course in Thailand” by readers of Asian Golf Monthly magazine.
