A Phuket Food & Beverage Show and Hotelex exhibition is scheduled to be
organized during October 14 to 17 at the Royal Phuket City hotel in Phuket.
During a press briefing yesterday, Phuket Vice Governor Supachai Yuwaboon
expected the event to boost the island's tourism as well as enhancing hotel
industry employees' experiences and skills for the services. Meanwhile
Teerawit Yingdamnoon, President of Food and Beverage Managers' Association
for the Andaman, said the event will feature food and beverage plus tools
for hotels, restaurants and spa services. Highlights will be a bartender
contest, tender steak preparation, and bed making contests, from which the
winner will represent the country to take part in an international contest
in Italy. Chinese puppetry from China will also be staged two times daily.
The event is jointly organized by the public and private sector in Phuket,
including the TAT and Phuket Tourist Association. |
